FAQ'S
I LIVE OUTSIDE OF THE UK, CAN I ATTEND ALL EVENTS?
Main stage shows are open to ALL; however, due to high demand from our UK holidayers, local and non-VIP
access to our smaller satellite shows may depend on the legal capacity of our venues. Both events at Koursaros Rock Bar are closed doors and not on general sale due to limited space. Entry to the Blue Spice Pool Party is available on general sale subject to availability, direct from the Restaurant from 29th September 2024. Tickets to all remaining open air shows can be purchased from our International online store provided by Ticketbox.

HOW MUCH WILL I EXPECT TO PAY FOR THE MAIN STAGE EVENTS?
Main stage event tickets will be available for purchase in advance from our ticket outlet in Cyprus at €50 per day for our VIP area and €30 for the arena area, online through Ticketbox at the link here: https://www.ticketbox.com.cy/cyprusrocks
Please note that entry without an advance ticket is permitted at the gate, subject to a surcharge of €5 per adult.
Entry for children under 12 years old is half price of an advance adult ticket and not subject to a surcharge at the gate.

I LIVE OUTSIDE OF THE UK, IS THE VIP PACKAGE AVAILABLE TO ME?
Although all of our open air events are open to everyone, Cyprus Rocks Festival includes smaller gigs for our travelling UK customers as part of their rock holiday package. For this reason our VIP all-access-all-week wristbands are available exclusively to holiday makers, who, as our travelling community form the building blocks of the event. However, tickets to all open air events will be available on a per-night basis subject to availability, including the VIP Area at the Main Stage. We apologise for any disappointment caused by restricted venue capacity at our smaller events.
CAN MY CHILDREN ATTEND THE FESTIVAL?
Yes, children are more than welcome to attend the festival; however we do please ask that children under 14 are
accompanied by an adult at all times - thank you. Tickets for children under the age of 12 are half the price of an adult ticket at the event you are attending. We advise that parents bringing children under the age of 5 to the festival do so at their own risk as we will not be liable to any damage to youngsters ears. A rock concert can generate around 100db to 120db (as much as a chainsaw). After leaving a gig it's not uncommon to have pain in your ears, ringing or temporary deafness. Usually this will stop after a while but if you choose to stand by speakers without regular breaks your ears will be damaged.

WHERE IS THE MAIN STAGE?
The main stage will be situated at Trinity Beach, Ayias Triadas a 15-minute coastal walk from Crystal Springs Hotel.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE ARENA AND VIP AREA?
Below is an illustration of the Main Stage site at Trinity Beach. Both options are available to everyone subject to availability. The VIP area has a seating area and it's own exclusive amenities, front of stage access and extra toilets. We hope this is helpful when making your decision on which area suits your party best :
I HAVE A DISABILITY - WILL THERE BE ACCESS?
Disabled access will be available on the main stage site and clearly signposted as well as the access to disabled toilets.

CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD AND DRINK TO THE FESTIVAL?
Unfortunately food and drink is not permitted at the weeks events. There will be a variety of quality street food available at our main stage events, provided by Fork Food Market and a fully stocked KEO bar offering local beer, wine, spirits and mixers, soft drinks and water for purchase.
Our food vendors for 2018 are as follows: 'ROAD BUNS' Burgers, 'TOP DOG' German Bratwurst Hot Dogs, 'THE FOOD GARDEN' Lemongrass, Lime & Ginger Noodles & 'THE FOOD GARDEN' Falafel Wrap.

HOW DO THE FOOD AND DRINKS TOKENS WORK AT THE MAINSTAGE?
Once you have entered the enclosure, at the entrance you will find token booths for food and drinks, with separate colour coded tokens available for beers and cider (€5 each) wines and spirits (€5 each) soft drinks (€2 each) water (€1) and all food options (€5 each).

HOW LONG IS THE JOURNEY FROM LARNACA AIRPORT TO THE MAIN STAGE RESORT?
You can expect your journey to take approximately 45-minutes from Larnaca to Paralimni.

USEFUL HOLIDAY INFORMATION.

GETTING AROUND

The best way to travel around Cyprus is by car. It is possible to rent a modern car through 'Rent Cyprus Villas' before your departure. Vehicles are available with both manual and automatic transmissions. As for roads, they are generally well paved and modern, except for some mountain areas. The main thing to remember is that in Cyprus, driving is on the left, as in the United Kingdom. On the motorways, maximum speed is 100 kilometres per hour.

Use of mobile phones at any time while driving is strictly prohibited, unless a hands-free equipment is used.
If you don't wish to drive yourself, communal "service taxis" are another option. They provide connections between all major towns every half hour. Regular taxis are reasonably priced and are especially good options for airport transfers on the first and or last day of your trip.

Driving licence:
Visitors in Cyprus can drive using a valid International driving licence, or their National driving licence, provided it is valid for the class of vehicle they wish to drive.

"Mini" guide to drivers:
Traffic moves on the LEFT hand-side of the road, NOT on the right.

International road traffic signs are in use, and placed along the roads and highways, on the left hand-side.
Distances and road speed limits are posted in kilometres and kilometre-per hour (km/h) respectively.
